Bletilla striata Variegata (Chinese Ground Orchid)

Soil:  Moist, humus rich, well drained
Light:  Sun-part shade

Attributes:  Deciduous, 12”- 24” tall.  Blooms in spring - summer.  Magenta blooms, reminiscent of a Catalaya.  This form has white streaks on the leaves.

Notes:  Plant next to rocks or mixed in the sunny perennial border.  When mature and settled into its spot, a plant can bloom for nearly three months.
