Attributes: Deciduous, Three to nine violet - purple flowers per stem.
Notes: These flower when in summer when the soil begins to dry out. In the wild they are usually one of the only plants blooming once the grass has gone dormant. In cultivation they will keep their foliage longer with a bit of moisture.
