Attributes: Deciduous. 12" - 24" tall. White with red, yellow, and brown markings. Grass like foliage emerge in winter and lasts until it blooms. Bulb goes summer dormant.
Notes: In the wild Calochortus grows in mountainous areas that are moist and cold during the winter and hot and dry in the summer. Does not need supplemental water and should be allowed to go mostly dry in summer.
