Attributes:  Deciduous, Large glossy Hosta like foliage that emerges early in the spring in a rosette.  Large fragrant white and purplish red trumpet flowers in late spring, early summer.  When finished flowering large dry seed heads on tall stalks.  This form has bronze new growth.

Notes:  Bulbs form offsets replacing older plants. Many seeds, that if left unharvested will germinate randomly throughout the garden.  The key is to plant the bulb so that the top one inch or slightly more is above the soil.  They like to be shallow, unlike many other Lilium.
