Attributes: Deciduous.  1"- 3" tall.  Blooms in the summer.  Orange flowers with red - burgundy spotting.  Flowers are asymmetrical. Whorled foliage.

Notes: Lilium distichum is a robust and graceful species for the lightly shaded garden.  In the wild grows in moist, shady woodlands.
