Attributes: Deciduous. Dark, nearly black purplish brown or yellowish bell shaped flowers.
Notes:  In the wild they often grow in damp places.  In Alaska I observed them growing in moist tundra with Dactylorhiza aristata and Iris setosa.  Plant next to Dactylorhiza, Primula and smaller Iris species.  Always in short supply.
