Soil:  Moist, humus rich, well drained
Light:  Part shade

Attributes:  Deciduous, 3' tall.  Blooms in  summer.  Clusters of small white blooms on arching spikes.  Black fruit in fall.  Large, compound foliage.

Notes:  This is a perennial Aralia that dies to the ground every fall only to regain its size the next spring.
