Arisaema tosaense (Jack-in-the-Pulpit)

Soil:  Moist, humus rich, well drained
Light:  Part shade, shade
Height: 36" tall
Pest Resistance:  Deer, Rabbit
Bloom Time:  June to July
Attributes: Deciduous, two large leaves with 12 leaflets in fan like shape.  green and white or sometimes carmine striped inflorescence held above the foliage.
Notes:  Very rare species from southern Japan and at home in the Pacific Northwest.
Companion plants:  Podophyllum, Primula, Cyripedium, ferns, Calanthe, Disporum, Trillium, Asarum.
Tubers ordered now will be shipped while dormant February through March.
