Attributes:  Deciduous.  Lush dark purple new growth, later tuning blue - green.  Yellow spring flowers, blue fruit in fall.  May take a few years before it produces fruit.

Notes:  An underutilized woodlander that is a great foliage companion to spring bulbs.
