Attributes:  Deciduous, A flowering plant will have two umbrella like lobed leaves.  Single white flowers formed between the two leaves in spring.  Red fruit in summer.  Spreading rhizome.

Notes:  Podophyllum can take a few years before settling totally in.  This species forms large clumps over time, doing best in a large garden or divided regularly once established.
