Rhododendron occidentale (Western Azalea)

Natural Range: PNW, Oregon, California
Soil:  Moist, humus rich, well drained
Light: Part shade, sun
Height: 5'
Attributes:  Deciduous shrub.  Leaves turn red, purple, orange and yellow in fall. Flowers are white - light pink with yellow spotting in the center.  Very fragrant
Notes:  Very versatile Rhododendron that can be quite drought tolerant once established.
