Attributes:  Deciduous.  Foliage emerges late winter.  Fuzzy gray-green leaves.  Four petaled flowers open throughout spring. 

Notes:  A lovely early bloomer that livens up a shady spot.  Works very well with Trillium.  Plant in rich, moist soil that is sheltered from hot sun but not in deep shade.
