Attributes:  Deciduous, 3' - 4' tall.  Blooms late spring to early summer.  Pseudostem is mottled green and dark purple or red and dark purple or both. Greenish white spathe and darker green spadex.

Notes:  In the wild Arisaema tortuosum is among the most encountered species of Arisaema.  Often blooms at the same time as Lilium nepalense and L. majoense.  Arisaema tortuosum is a close relative of the Eastern US native A. dracontium.
