Attributes: Deciduous, 6” - 8" tall. Blooms in spring. Blooms are large, white and yellow throat. Foliage is rounded with deep pleating. Each year the previous pseudobulb is replaced by new growth.
Notes: Mulch pseudobulbs with a good layer of leaves in October-November. Also works well as a potted plant. If potted tuck in a cool garage during the winter. Keep on the dry side but don't allow pseudobulb to shrivel up.

Attributes: Deciduous, A flowering plant will have two umbrella like lobed leaves. New growth emerges mottled with chocolate brown fading to green. Single pinkish white flowers formed between the two leaves in spring. Red fruit in summer.
Notes: Also known as Sinopodophyllum hexandrum, Dysosma emodi and Podophyllum emodi. Plant in a bit more sun than you would other Podophyllum species. In the wild hexandrum grows in alpine meadows and open woodlands with other perennials and shrubs.
