Ordering. Shipping. Payment.

We take care to ensure healthy plant delivery -

Placed Orders

Orders are shipped Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Holidays and uncooperative weather can sometimes delay shipping. KIGN does not ship plants in August or mid-December through January, except by special arrangement.

If an order is placed after a shipping season is closed, the order will be scheduled to ship the next shipping season.

Combining Orders

If you would like to add plants to your existing order, please place a new order for the plants you wish to add and tell us in the Notes: section that you would like us to combine your orders. This will reserve your plant for you and help you save some in shipping costs. We do need at least 1 business day notice in order to combine your orders and even more advance notice is greatly appreciated.

Two Seasonal Shipping Windows

To help ensure plants arrive alive and healthy, KIGN avoids shipping during extreme hot and cold months:

  1. Spring Shipping Season - February, March, April, May & June
  2. Fall Shipping Season - September, October, November & early December

Note: Please let us know your preferred shipping week or if you have special instructions in the Notes: section when you place an order.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship throughout the contiguous United States.  We currently cannot ship to Hawaii or outside of the USA. Sorry!

We ship using USPS and prices are based on the following:

  • Plant weight and volume
  • Packing box size
  • Your zip code zone (We recommend using priority if your zip code is below 80000)
  • Handling and packing materials

Standard USPS Shipping can take up to 7 - 10 days for delivery depending on location.
Priority USPS Shipping delivery can be up to 3 days depending on location.

At KIGN we are committed to keeping shipping & handling fees as low as possible.

Mail order purchases will be charged at checkout which stakes your claim on your plants.  We accept VISA, Master Card American Express and Discover.  If we are unable to fill your order completely, you will be refunded.  If you require more information, please contact us.

Plants are shipped in nursery pots (made in Oregon, USA), and wrapped carefully in an eco-friendly material. Our plants come in a variety of pot sizes. Dormant bulbs or rhizomes may be sent in soil-free shavings, which reduces shipping weight. If necessary with larger pots, we remove the pot and ship the plant in a cellulose bag.

All KIGN plants are packaged in a cardboard box with newspaper to prevent movement and damage.  We are committed to using recycled boxes and packing materials to reduce both costs and to minimize our ecological footprint.

Our plants come in a variety of pot sizes.
