Soil: moist, humus rich, well drained
Light: part shade, Sun

Notes: Dr. Wallich's collectors discovered L. nepalense prior to 1820 in Nepal but it remains one of the least known of all species Lilies. There are two other closely related species L. majoense and L. primulinum that are just as hard to find in cultivation. Like all species lilies, keep bulbs and roots cool by planting among other perennials and shrubs. The tops of the plants can take full sun.
