Attributes: Deciduous. Blooms spring to early summer. Green pseudostem, Carmine and white with green striped inflorescens. Leaves radiate from a central point with up to 13 leaflets that have impressed veins on the upper side.
Notes: In the wild A. concinnum grows in forest clearings and in shrubbery. Tubers ordered now will be shipped while dormant October, November and February through March.

Attributes: Deciduous, 1'-2' tall. Spathe is dark brown - carmine and purple, with white - greenish yellow, striping, resembling snake skin. Long brown whip like spadex. Bloom time is around April - May. Large, glossy trifoliate leaves with thick veining. These go dormant quickly after blooming.
Notes: Arisaema griffithii var. pradhanii is an unusual species growing in Rhododendron forests, and alpine meadows at about 9,000 ft elevation.

Notes: Considered a variety of A. serratum with distinctively dark flowers. I have found this species to be a reliable grower even under some harsh PNW conditions. Not as common in the trade.

Attributes: Deciduous. Blooms late winter, early spring . Brown and white with carmine mottled pseudostem. White, green, dark brown, and yellow -green inflorescenes that opens before the leaves.
Notes: Arisaema nepenthoides gets its name from its similar appearance to pitcher plants (Nepenthes). In the wild it inhabits forests open glades, and among shrubbery. A very detailed and stunning spathe with unique patterning. This species instantly became a favorite of mine. It will bloom at the same time as Trillium albidum and T. kurabyashii.

Attributes: Deciduous. Blooms spring, but lasts most of the season. Two trifoliate dark green, glossy leaves. The spathe is purple and curves almost all the way over on itself, except for the sides and front where light shines through revealing the purple and white stripes on the back side. Each spathe can last for months, looking nearly as fresh as when it first opened.
Notes: A great bold foliage plant that adds a tropical and lush look to the shade garden. Will form a clump over time. A no fuss Arisaema that is not used frequently enough. Tubers ordered now will be shipped while dormant October, November and February through March.
