Attributes:  Deciduous.  Racemes of orange-yellow orchid like flowers.  Banana like foliage. Red flower bracts and purple-red underside of leaf.
Notes:  Cautleya is one of the hardiest in the Ginger Family. Closely related to Roscoea.  In the wild Cautleya is found growing in cool, moist forests at high elevations.  In cooler climates mulch crown in fall.
