Attributes: Evergreen. Dense clumps with upright dark green unbranded. stems. Dark brown sheaths at the joints. Brown flowers at the tips of the new seasons growth.
Notes:This form has very distinct brown sheaths at the joints. Can freeze to the ground in very cold winters and is reported to re-sprout in the spring with temps around 10 degrees. Restios look especially great when planted in a large ornamental pot, showing off its dramatic foliage.
