Cypripedium japonicum (Lady's Slipper Orchid)

Attributes:  Deciduous, 12” tall.  Blooms in spring. Green petals, white with red-pink markings, flat fan - like pleated foliage, reminiscent of an Elizabethan collar.
Notes:  This species is closely related to Cyp. fomosanum.  They are a bit larger bloomed and taller than the later species.
