Attributes: Deciduous. Purplish brown branchlets.  Brown grey bark.  Ovate-lanceolate leaves with deep veins emerge in bronze tones changing to olive green.  Monoecius catkin-like flower bracts to almost a foot long. 
Notes: One of the most attractive and hard to find recently introduced trees.
