Attributes:  Deciduous.  Racemes of creamy yellow orchid like flowers.  Thick corn like foliage and stems.
Notes:  Coutleya is the second hardiest group of gingers, consisting of three species from the Himalayas.  Closely related to Roscoea.  In the wild Cautleya is found growing in cool, moist forests at high elevations.
