Attributes:  Deciduous.  Bright green fronds unfurling like a closed hand opening up.  New growth can have a bronze-pink blush.  Delicate looking fan-shaped fronds layered, horizontal with black stems.
Notes:  Plants do best when planted with good rich soil that does not dry out too much during the summer.
