Attributes:  Evergreen, medium sized tree with graceful, pendulous sprays of blue-green leaves.
Notes:  In the wild it grows at moderately high altitudes of 1,250 - 2,800 m.  In southern Gansu we noticed that C. funebris was the dominantly planted tree and covered vast hillsides.
