Attributes:  Evergreen, 12' tall.  Large glossy leaves.  Red stems.  Previous seasons leaves persist for several years, drooping down.  Small flowers, showy blue fruit in winter.  Immature leaves are glaucous.
Notes:  Multi-stemmed stately shrub that adds an exotic touch to the lightly shaded garden.  Specimens have been grown in the PNW for more than 20 years but still not well known in gardens.  Seed grown not sexed.
