Attributes: Deciduous. Clumping. A profusion of Blue-purple flowers with contrasting white stamen. Flowers fade to a lighter blue so the further along in blooming the more blue the flowers look.  Lightly mottled three lobed leaves.

Notes: An eye-catching color for this charming spring perennial. Plant in the foreground with other early blooming woodlanders such as Trillium & Anemone.
