Mimulus cardinalis (Scarlet Monkey Flower)

Attributes:  Deciduous, 12” - 24" tall.  Summer blooming. Orange tubular flowers.  Thick flesy tuber like root.

Notes:  This is a perennial mimulus that hummingbirds go crazy for.  The foliage emerges early in the spring and slowly starts to put up a flowering stem.  By early summer it is in full flower.
