Attributes:  Deciduous, Slow growing tree with Obovate, dark green leaves that turn bright yellow to red in fall.  Small greenish white flowers. 
Notes: Nyssa biflora is differentiated from N. sylvatica by narrower and more leathery leaves, smoother bark, flowers held in pairs and flat fruit.  Seed source is from Louisiana
