Plant Hunting In China Fall 2013

Posted by Arlen Hill on June 17, 2013.

Good News!  We are planning an expedition to China for this fall.  Since these trips are very expensive and the logistics are complicated we are putting out the word to those of you who would like to bring back part of the action.  If you donate to the cause, it will be almost like going yourself, without all of the hassle and difficulty of trudging around in the woods, swiping off forest leaches or riding in the car on those crazy long bumpy drives.  For your convenience we updated the KIGN website to accept donations in different increments.  Each level will give you a range of gifts to thank you for your kind contribution, including a travel log news letter covering the trip.

Chip Hill: Staff Job; Nursery dog. With the passing of our beloved friend Max Hill, things have been pretty dull around here, at least on the canine level. So with great trepidation and only one interview we have invited Chip to join our staff. A 5 year old, smooth coated border collie, Chip is well qualified for his duties and seems eager to learn any new and interesting jobs. A big round of thanks to Chip for giving us a try!
